• There will be a viewing Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E. –Tremonton) from 6-8 pm. 
• There will be a graveside service held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Bear River City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

7th Annual Class Picnic August 3, 2015

Our annual picnics started in 2009 so this is our 7th year, 40 years after our graduation 

Here are some photos from the picnic and a link to others. 

The picnic was a success, 19 attended, there was lots of food and deserts and we had a special guest who is our age and grew up in Honeyville with Joyce Keller. Welcome Alan Chlarson

Annual Class Pot Luck BBQ

• Who: All BEHS Class of 69 Classmates and their significant others are invited
• What: Annual Class Pot Luck BBQ  
• When: Saturday, 08/01/2015 - Gather: at 3:30-5:00pm - mingle and setup. Dinner at 5:00pm

Begin Dinner: at 5:00-6:00pm (The Bowery is reserved from 8:00am to 10:00pm if anyone would like to use it earlier in the day)

Classmate is named to Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame

Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame

Joe Kelly and four others are being inducted into the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame. VegasNews.com reported that the five inductees will receive state’s highest sports honor on Friday June 19, 2015 in the Orleans Arena. "Kelly has dedicated his professional career to producing an exceptional golf experience for local players and tourists. As a philanthropist, he has been instrumental in the promotion of junior golf and providing opportunities for youth in Southern Nevada. Kelly arrived in Las Vegas in 1977, serving as the assistant golf professional at the Desert Inn Hotel and Country Club. He served as host golf professional for the inaugural Panasonic Las Vegas Invitational in 1983 and went on to serve as host professional for six PGA TOUR events and two LPGA TOUR stops in Las Vegas. In addition to his experience as a professional and host, Kelly has been involved in the construction and opening of six local courses, including Desert Pines, Royal Links, Bali Hai and three courses at Sunrise Country Club."

March 2015 Ladies Luncheon

"LET'S DO LUNCH" BUNCH!

The 21 March 2015 Luncheon held at the Olive Garden in Ogden was a success as reported by Lynda Hansen Nielsen.

The ladies planned the future luncheons as outlined below: 

2015 Schedule all Saturdays at 11:30 am: 

• 13 June at El Matador in Ogden
• 19 September at Maddox in Ogden
• 12 December at Rickenbackers in Ogden

Circle your calendars the plan is to meet quarterly on the second Saturday of the month; the exception this time is third week in September because of Peach Days.

Coach Les Dunn 1926 - 2015

Coach Les Dunn passed away peaceably and surrounded by family at 12:40 am Friday, February 27th, 2015 at the age of 89. He had so many fond memories of his time spent at Box Elder High School (BEHS) and of so many of you. 

For those who are interested, his family will gather for a viewing on Friday the 6th of March at Gilles Mortuary from about 6-8 pm. 

The funeral service will be Saturday the 7th at 11:00 am at his LDS church house located at about 815 West 400 South Brigham City, Utah. An obituary will be forthcoming. Gary expressed his thanks to all of you for your support over the years. His mother is especially grateful for so many fond memories of friends, students and athletes they have known over the years. Coach spoke of them often.
